“YOUTH FOR DEVELOPMENT OF LYASKOVETS” ASSOCIATION WITH A SECOND ERASMUS + PROJECT
              

“Youth for Development of Lyaskovets” Association will implement a project under the Erasmus + Programme for the second time. The project “Activation of young people in rural areas- Mission Possible!” is funded by the Human Resources Development Centre under contract 2016-3-BG01-KA105-035303. This is yet another one of the projects implemented on the territory of Lyaskovets municipality.

THE ASSOCIATION WILL CONDUCT INFORMATION CAMPAIGN NAMED ”NO HATE SPEACH"
           


The team of the “Youth for Development of Lyaskovets” Association and its volunteers will conduct information campaign named “NO TO THE LANGUAGE OF HATRED” on 12 and 13 January. One thousand leaflets have been printed for the campaign to be disseminated in Lyaskovets.

“YOUTH FOR DEVELOPMENT OF LYASKOVETS” ASSOCIATION HAS SUCCESSFULLY ACCOMPLISHED AN ERASMUS + PROJECT
                      


“Youth for Development of Lyaskovets” Association has successfully accomplished its first project under the Erasmus+ Programme. The project “European youth citizenship – UNDER CONSTRUCTION” was funded by the HRDC under contract 2016-1-BG01-KA105-023339 and was the first in Lyaskovets municipality under the Youth section, Key Action1. The young people from Lyaskovets who took part in the activities have assessed highly the opportunities provided by the EU and the European citizenship in particular.

"YOUTH FOR DEVELOPMENT OF LYASKOVETS” ASSOCIATION HAS SUCCESSFULLY SUBMITTED 2 NEW PROJECTS
                  

“Youth for Development of Lyaskovets” Association submitted successfully 2 new projects under the Erasmus+ Programme on 4 October. The first project is for a youth exchange including young people from 6 programme countries from the EU and is due to be implemented in April 2017 if funded. The second project involves mobility of youth workers from 10 programme countries and, if approved, it will be the largest-scale project in Veliko Tarnovo region funded under the Erasmus+ Programme.

LYASKOVETS MUNICIPALITY WELCOMED YOUNG PEOPLE FROM 6 COUNTRIES

                
Lyaskovets municipality hosted 38 young people from Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, Greece, Cyprus and the Czech Republic on 15 Aug 2016. A discussion was held in the conference hall of Lyaskovets town hall with the participation of the mayor of the municipality, Dr. Ivelina Getsova, and the chairperson of the municipal council of Lyaskovets, Mrs Daniela Arabadzhieva. The topics discussed with the young guests included the European citizenship, the approaches and forms of working with the young people of Lyaskovets municipality and the opportunities for the development of youths. The meeting was organized by the team of the “Youth for Development of Lyaskovets”

INTERNATIONAL YOUTH ROUND TABLE ON “EUROPEAN YOUTH CITIZENSHIP”
             
Íà An international youth round table on “European Youth Citizenship” was held by the “Youth for Development of Lyaskovets” Association between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm on 12 Aug 2016 in hall No. 30 of the Youth Centre in Veliko Tarnovo. The participants in the event were representatives of institutions and youth NGOs from Bulgaria as well as young people and youth workers from Poland, Romania, Greece, Cyprus, Germany and the Czech Republic. The round table was part of project 2016-1-BG01-KA105-023339 European youth citizenship – UNDER CONSTRUCTION funded under the Erasmus+ programme.

THE TEAM OF THE SOCIETY STARTED THE IMPLEMENTATION OF INNOVATIVE METHODOLOGY FOR YOUTH WORK
               

On 16 July the team of the “Youth for Development of Lyaskovets” Association started the implementation of an innovative methodology for youth work based on augmented reality and the PokemonGO game. The “Youth for Development of Lyaskovets” Association is the first NGO in Bulgaria to include PokemonGO in its work with the young people of Lyaskovets. The team of the “Youth for Development of Lyaskovets” Association have tested the methodology onsite and will start the promotion of their own innovative methodology once a success is recorded.

FIRST APPROVED PROJECT UNDER THE ERASMUS + PROGRAMME
                  
On 6 June the chairperson of the “Youth for Development of Lyaskovets” Association signed a contract for the funding of project 2016-1-BG01-KA105-023339 “European youth citizenship - UNDER CONSTRUCTION” which is to be funded under the Erasmus+ Programme, Youth section, Key Action 1. This has been the first youth project of an NGO from Lyaskovets municipality approved under the Erasmus+ Programme. The project will involve 35 young people as well as 7 leaders from 7 EU countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Greece, the Czech Republic, Cyprus and Germany). The project’s duration is 5 months. The funding at the amount of 18,096 Euro has been provided by the HRDC.
